Whenever I come from Germany to Pakistan, my skin starts going crazy with a breakout of acne, even though I am 25. I have a very difficult skin as it is kind of a mixture of oily and dry. It normally gets too dry specially the area above my lips, so I really don’t know what kind of cleansers and scrubs to use. My mum has this book of natural beauty tips by Ambika Manchanda and she always opens that whenever I am complaining about my skin. This was the first time I was kind of fed up, so I started reading the little book and used one cleanser, exfoliator and a moisturiser from it and trust me it did wonders to my skin. Now my skin is back to its normal form. I am gonna share them with you so you can try it for yourself and do share your experience in the comments!
Cleanser
I used a cleanser for all skin types as my skin was being dry even in this hot weather. It is really simple; all you need is milk, salt and cotton. Take half cup of cold milk, mix half teaspoon of salt in it and put cotton balls in it. Dab the cotton balls on your face and leave for 2 minutes and then take the cotton balls from the bowl again and apply to the face and then rub gently in circular motions and wash your face.

Exfoliator
I have heard from a lot of people that they exfoliate every day, but I read an interesting fact in this book that over exfoliating can do more harm than good, you should only do it once a week and if you have extremely oily skin then 2 times a week but never more than that!
For the exfoliator I used one with rice, curd and honey. First you have to make rice powder in a blender. According to the recipe from the book, you need to take half cup of rice, but I always like changing recipes, so I only used 2 tablespoon rice powder, ½ tablespoon honey and 1 tablespoon curd. Make a paste and then use it like a scrub, i.e. by rubbing in circular motions for 1 to 2 minutes and then wash it with water.

Moisturisers
Lastly, I used a moisturiser as it is important because your skin needs nourishment after the cleansing and exfoliation. I used a simple one with egg and almond oil as they were both available. Mix one egg yolk with 1 tablespoon of almond oil. Apply all over the face avoiding the eyes for 15 minutes, then wash it first with warm water and then with cold water. I know many of you hate the smell of egg and would be scared to try this. But trust me when you shower it is all okay.

I hope these help you like they helped me! Leave your comments so I know if it was just me or are they actually helpful.
