The fast-paced life of today demands that we are efficient with styling our daily outfits. Our day jobs and extremely busy social life demands that we can style one outfit in various ways throughout the day. That is exactly what I’ve been doing and want to share here.
So, my day began with an official meeting that was formal but not so much and it was followed by a lunch date with my girlfriends. I had to ensure that I looked the part for both. Here is how I styled with minimum changes.
First Look
The first look had to be a bit formal, so I decided to wear a beige button-down georgette shirt that I had bought from Levi’s (a couple of years ago) with a collar and paired it with black pants I had bought from Zara. To make the outfit more business-like, I layered it with a black formal jacket from New Yorker (got a very cheap bargain). To add more oomph, I wore heels from Charles and Keith (also bought a gazillion years ago). I let my hair loose and just did very minimal makeup. I also wore small crystal studs in my ears (which you cannot see) and voila I was ready for the meeting!

Second Look
The second look was even easier to style. I wanted it to be bright and fun so all I did was take off the jacket, wear big bright pink earrings I had bought from a local vendor at the Liberty market in Lahore. I wanted to be comfortable, so I took the heels off and wore my super comfortable kohlapuri chappals (traditional Pakistani footwear) and I was ready for the lunch. Oh also, I brightened my lipstick a bit and tousled my hair so they looked casual. Here’s a picture of the second look!
